Project Outline:

• Preliminary site preparation; including site clearing, construction of amenities, temporary power, gas supply and fencing.
• Preparation of documentation for tenders.
• Provision of a Construction Manager, Scheduler, Site Engineers and Supervisors.
• Provision of drafting service and detailed process engineering.
• Management of the electrical, instrumentation civil and structural consultants.

Working with client representatives Synertec managed:

• Construction of roadways, platforms, and walkways as well as various bunds, fire system bunker and sphere pilings.
• Shipping, offloading, testing and commissioning of the 4000m³ – 350kPa insulated sphere that was fabricated in Taiwan.
• Procurement, supply and fitting of  relief valves, bursting discs, pressure transmitters, temperature transmitters, control room indicators, excess flow valves and isolation valves.
• Procurement, supply and installation of tanker loading pumps, refrigeration pumps, refrigeration plants as well as combuster.
• Supply and installation of conduits / cable trays, cabling from MCC to field equipment, cable MCC to control panel, PLC, instruments in control room, lighting – roadways, lighting - sphere / pumps, marshalling boxes, cables from marshalling boxes to field instruments , earthing for sphere, bridging straps for pipework.
• Alterations to the tanker access system and PC items.
• Supply / upgrade to the existing CITEC system.
• Electrical supervision / inspection, electrical commissioning and continuity testing.
• Installation and integrated of the gas detection system
• Supply / installation of cable pumps N2 seal systems, dockline temperature transmitters.
• The Integration of fire system into the existing Fire Indicator Panel.
• Installation, testing and commissioning of fire the protection system.
• Design and installation of Service lines for air, nitrogen and potable water, safety showers, and natural gas pipework.
• Hydrostatic pressure testing of sphere, product lines and fire system.
• Provided Operational and Maintenance Manuals and training.
