New Manufacturing Facility

Project Duration: January 2003 - September 2003
Project Features: Research & QC Laboratories, RO water system, Reticulated services, Dust containment & extraction, Office fit-out
Works Included: A facility “design and construct” project involving extensive R&D laboratories, GMP manufacturing facilities and administration offices.

 

Project Outline:

  • Synertec was initially contracted to undertake a Front End Engineering Design (FEED) study. The study included:

- Equipment selection
- Process and personnel flows
- Manufacturing facility layouts
- R&D laboratory layouts
- Wall and floor finishes
- Environmental control initiatives, including cascading pressure  regimes and HVAC
- Critical elevation development
- Solid and Trade Waste disposal
- Town Planning considerations

  • At the completion of the study Synertec provided a firm quotation, and was subsequently contracted to build the facility on a Lump Sum Turn Key basis.
